Kids Yoga

Our Port Moody before and after school program is designed to give young people the best start to their day, improving mood, focus & concentration, and resiliency before entering the classroom, and creating a safe space for young people to release the anxiety and stressors of the day after school.

Yoga For Teens

Teens 16+ are invited to join any of our regular adult classes.
Teens 13+ are invited to classes where indicated. We also offer a limited number of teen specific classes.

June 8: Energy Play Through Yoga

There are many ways to discover and feel your own energy. We will be connecting with our subtle energies by experimenting through yoga postures, sound vibration, psychometry and stillness.

Pregnancy Bereavement Yoga

Our four week series led by our birth doula/yoga instructor and a therapist will be returning in summer 2021. Email to be notified when series dates are announced.

June 21: Outdoor Solstice All Ages Class

On June 21, 2021, the longest day of the year, we will be holding a free/by-donation class at Old Orchard Meadow with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Indian Residential School Survivors Society. Pre-registration is required.

June 26: Community Connection with Kellie Paroginog

Come and participate with community and connect with self and others in self care, healing, and well being. Using tools of yoga, we will move our bodies with a hatha flow, Kriya (action) to transform any heavy energy into feeling light, practice meditation to move past the thinking mind, cultivate awareness, and drop into our hearts to experience the duality, resistance. To finish, we complete the practice with a deep relaxation/yoga nidra to integrate all the work and receive the powerful benefits.

May 30: Yoga for Anxiety: Group Therapy

In this four week series we will explore how to apply the eight limbs of yoga to address anxiety including components of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This group is led by a Mental Health Therapist and may be eligible for coverage under some extended health plans where RSW is covered.
This popular series will be returning to studio in April 25, 2021

June 23: Reflective Practice for Helping Professionals

Under the supervision of experienced Registered Social Worker Dawn Slykhuis, we will incorporate yoga and mindfulness practices into a group supervision model.

This is not your step mothers therapist. Our counselling services are grounded in the eight limbs of yoga. No couch, no clipboard, just an opportunity to meet with an experienced therapist to move through life's struggles. We offer counselling for kids, teens, and adults, local to the Tricities or online for those living further away.

September 10 - 12, 2021: Inner Child Movement and Mindfulness Retreat for Adults

Join us at Hakuna Matata Retreat property on Lake Wahwashkesh in Ontario for three full days of Movement, Mindfulness and FUN! Early bird deadline to register is May 15, 2021.

Welcoming classes for every body. We support yogis on every step of their journey.

Psychotherapy services for adults and youth grounded in the eight limbs of yoga.

Check out our upcoming workshops or host your own event in our inviting space.

We go beyond yoga to create community and connection.

At RVN Wellness, we created a space where community members can come together to laugh, learn, and celebrate our unique bodies and minds.

We offer child and youth yoga, adult yoga classes, in addition to counselling and psychotherapy services for Port Moody, Coquitlam, Burnaby, Tri-Cities, and beyond.
