Start your journey at Port Moody's newest yoga, counselling, and wellness space
Our Port Moody before and after school program is designed to give young people the best start to their day, improving mood, focus & concentration, and resiliency before entering the classroom, and creating a safe space for young people to release the anxiety and stressors of the day after school.
This is not your step mothers therapist. Our counselling services are grounded in the eight limbs of yoga. No couch, no clipboard, just an opportunity to meet with an experienced therapist to move through life's struggles. We offer counselling for kids, teens, and adults, local to the Triciteis or online for those living further away.
In this four week series we will explore how to apply the eight limbs of yoga to address anxiety including components of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This group is led by a Mental Health Therapist and may be eligible for coverage under some extended health plans where RSW is covered.
This popular series will be returning to studio in April 25, 2021
Under the supervision of experienced Registered Social Worker Dawn Slykhuis, we will incorporate yoga and mindfulness practices into a group supervision model.
Join us at Hakuna Matata Retreat property on Lake Wahwashkesh in Ontario for three full days of Movement, Mindfulness and FUN! Early bird deadline to register is May 15, 2021.
This body positive/body neutral class is about celebrating what your body CAN do. In this special workshop you will learn how to use different props and modifications to create accessibility to practice yoga in your individual body. This specialty workshop is included with all studio memberships.
Thursdays beginning April 8 we will be hosting Cassedi from Aaromflow Healing for South Bath and Self Healing. Included with studio memberships or purchase your spot for $40!
We have partnered with the GloWithin (@theglowithinyou)to offer a kids yoga teacher training in May 2021. You do not need to be a yoga instructor to join this training as it will be open to anyone wanting to learn how to bring yoga into the lives of youth, including parents, teachers, activity leaders, social workers, early childhood educators, and of course, yoga instructors.
We go beyond yoga to create community and connection.
At RVN Wellness, we created a space where community members can come together to laugh, learn, and celebrate our unique bodies and minds.
We offer child and youth yoga, adult yoga classes, in addition to counselling and psychotherapy services for Port Moody, Coquitlam, Burnaby, Tri-Cities, and beyond.
