Welcome,

Whether you’re exploring new approaches to mental wellness or seeking support after a transformative experience, we’re grateful you’re here.

At RVN Wellness we provide a supportive space for individuals looking to prepare for or integrate psychedelic experiences. Our approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, emotional safety, and professional ethics. We specialize in psychedelic assisted therapy offering individual and group sessions both online and in-person in the Vancouver area (Port Moody) and Greater Toronto area (Barrie).

There is a growing body of evidence based research exploring the use of psychedelic-assisted therapy. While RVN Wellness does not provide or facilitate access to psilocybin, we do support individuals who are engaging with or reflecting on these experiences through legal and self directed pathways.

Our therapists and nurses are trained through Therapsil, Canada’s leading organization for psychedelic-assisted therapy education. We’re here to help you process, integrate, and gain insights from your experiences in a safe, confidential, and compassionate setting.

Services may be eligible for extended health benefits for those with coverage for Counselling by a Registered Social Work in British Columbia and Ontario.

For questions or to schedule a session, reach out to dawn at rvnwellness.com.

Please note: RVN Wellness does not supply, promote, or arrange access to any substances, including psilocybin. Our services are limited to therapeutic support, education, and integration.

Upcoming Psilocybin Assisted Therapy Events

You are encouraged to do your own research regarding psilocybin and the information provided here is not meant to be legal or medical advice.

Why offer psilocybin therapy?
As interest in psychedelics grows, many people seek a safe, informed, and supportive environment. Working with a trained therapist can help foster a more intentional and guided experience.

Does the therapist provide the psilocybin?
Therapists are unable to provide psilocybin for individuals and those accessing therapy will need to procure their own medicine, and the therapist will work within a harm reduction framework to support the journey. There are several psilocybin dispensaries online and located in Vancouver that you can connect with.

Is psilocybin legal in Canada?
It’s a bit of a grey area. Psilocybin is still considered a controlled substance in Canada, which means it is not currently legal for general use. However, in certain circumstances, it may be accessed legally.

In some cities, like Vancouver and Toronto psilocybin is becoming more openly available through dispensaries operating with valid city licenses.

At RVN Wellness, we don’t provide or arrange access to psilocybin. Our role is to offer safe, supportive spaces for preparation and integration for individuals exploring or reflecting on their own experiences.

Who is not appropriate for psilocybin therapy?
Those who are under 19, pregnant, or have a history of mania/psychosis are not currently candidates for psilocybin therapy. Those on psychotropic medications may find the benefits of psilocybin therapy to be limited. Please book a free 15 minute consultation to further determine if psilocybin assisted therapy is right for you, however it should be noted that therapists are unable to provide medical information or guidance and to determine if this therapy is right for you, you will be encouraged to speak to your health care provider.

Why don’t you provide psilocybin therapy for youth?
In Indigenous cultures, plant medicine is provided to youth and there is some great promise in treating some common mental health issues in youth however, we just aren’t there yet. Because we strive to provide services that are evidence based at RVN, we are following the research and once there is enough research supporting the safety and efficacy in youth, we hope to provide this service in the future.

If you have any additional questions about psilocybin assisted therapy, please reach out to dawn@rvnwellness.com

*Dawn works within the regulations around therapeutic use of psilocybin in Canada, primarily using a harm reduction approach and does not promote or provide illicit substances*
