Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga Teacher Training

16 hour Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Course

SUP yoga teacher training in Port Moody, BC (30 minutes outside of Vancouver, BC)
Next training: May 21 – 24, 2026

This immersive SUP Yoga Training is designed for yoga teachers ready to guide students on the water, and for paddlers who simply want a powerful, experiential weekend of SUP yoga.

Blending paddleboard confidence, water safety, and creative sequencing, this hands-on training equips participants with the foundational skills needed to move, teach, and flow safely in both calm and dynamic environments.

Over the course of the weekend, we will spend one day on a lake (Sasamat) and one day on the ocean (Rocky Point), allowing you to experience and adapt to different water conditions.

You’ll build board stability and safety awareness, explore rescue and group management considerations, learn how to intelligently adapt yoga postures for a floating surface, and practice sequencing in an outdoor setting.

Emphasis is placed on safety, environmental awareness, accessible modifications, and creating a grounded, engaging experience in nature.

Those pursuing certification will have the opportunity to design and demo-teach a SUP yoga class with supportive feedback.
